Designed by Studio Bellencour Architects, Galilée is office building design located near Toulouse in France. This twisted form, which unites the building marks the entrance of the complex, controls entry of light in offices and even prevents overheating in summer. The building is built with two distinct buildings which are connected by a long white concrete veil. The double veil feature of insuring the continuity between each building while allowing one to discover the rear landscape in all its depth. The proximity of the airport and the urban context without many building are referenced in the horizontal lines, made with aluminum. The distinctions between the buildings would allow multiple tenants to maintain an air of individuality while at the same time the continuous architectural themes provide an appropriate environment for one single occupant. Incredible and modern, these are my conclusions on this building.
