57Studio was designed minimalist house design of Kubler House located in Las Brisas de Chicureo, Colina, Chile. It is responsible for a detached house in a residential park north of Santiago. Sites bordering the 5000 m2 and surrounded mostly by golf courses and green areas, have the constant presence of the range, high summer temperatures and winds from the south. It seeks to incorporate the landscape into the daily life of the home, taking advantage of the client application to want to spend time of the year in the outdoors.

The property has a north park, a street to the west and another to the south, where access is located. The house is located at the corner of two streets to rid the garden, causing a continuity with the park and clearing the views of the mountains to the east.

Some perimeter walls extend to conduct hearings and close the house to the winds and nearby streets. Also the slabs are spreading like eaves to keep the sun cover the windows and terraces. These architectural elements radicalized the opening of the interior spaces to deepen its presence from the outside.

All interior spaces are organized around a central courtyard 8 x 8 m of the land that collects and incorporates it into the house. Bounded by the roof slab, the patio opens its north face to project the view onto the garden. A third of the surface is traversed by a water mirror that reinforces this perspective through a covered terrace. Public areas are constantly involved in the courtyard from the main entrance to be, coordinating services to the west. On the east side, a double height wall of a controlled closed private area without losing its involvement with the court and accompanies the climb to the master bedroom. From there, you can go to a large covered terrace overlooking the landscape, where the barbecue and pool are located at a distance field advantage in its entirety.
