Office Building of KP Alazraki by AD 11 Architecture
November 3rd, 2009 - Posted in Architecture DesignAD 11 Architecture and Design Group was completed design of KP Alazraki Office Building located in Lazaro Cardenas, Jalisco – Mexico. The building is located facing a high-speed highway. The project proposes a red body that frames the entrance, forming a portico framing and green areas which in turn is support for the company’s advertising logo. The assignment was an advertising agency comprised of two buildings constructed at different stages. The first was built as a radical intervention of transforming pre-existing building use and image, yet respecting the structure.



A pre-existing stairs in the building that served as an escape from emerergencia, was reused as a connection between the first building and the new. This connection is achieved through a red box that levels of deference high levels of floor of each building.
This extension was designed as an integration to pre-existing building, which comprises a plotting room, a small auditorium, and a penthuose creative spaces. The titration reflects the distribution of interior space. Natural light and open plan were priority issues in the design.
