Vertical house is the one of LOHA Architect project in 2004, a narrow house with maximum natural light. This is a family residence that was built in extremely narrow constraints of the site, and the designer must develop an alternate approach to maximizing opportunities for light and views. Instead, a steel moment frame removes structural restraint from the skins and allows for an unrestricted rhythm of glazing, channel glass and solid panels which flood the interior with selected instances of daylight through out the day.

Amazing use of space. The vertical house is a great innovation for those who do not have access to a spacious ground for home construction. Moreover, with the maximum light advantage, it proves to be ‘the place to be in’.

I think steel buildings would make a brilliant vertical home with its high resistance and great strength. Also steel buildings are eco-friendly in nature.
